Gregor Pilgram, Chief Executive Officer of Generali Austria, graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He began his career in 1999 as a specialist in the Controlling Department at Generali Insurance in Ljubljana, becoming a Management Board member in 2004 and Chairman of the Board in 2008. He further enriched his extensive insurance expertise through various leadership roles within the regional structures of the Generali Group. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Generali CEE Holding.
During his time in Slovenia, Gregor Pilgram was an active member of numerous associations, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Managers’ Association of Slovenia. In 2010, the Managers’ Association awarded him the title of Young Manager of the Year for his contribution to shaping the Slovenian insurance market and for positioning Generali Insurance as one of the country’s leading insurers.
