Tjaša Redek

Professor at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana

Prof. Dr Tjaša Redek is a professor at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, where she teaches a range of courses, including macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic growth and development. She studied at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, and at the London School of Economics.

Her earlier research focused extensively on institutional development in the context of economic growth and on labour market issues. In recent years, her research has concentrated primarily on analysing the role of intangible capital, particularly innovation, in economic growth and firm productivity.

She has participated in numerous national and international research projects, the results of which have been published in a range of publications.
