Bernhard Puttinger has 25 years of experience in the field of green innovation in various positions in research and business. He is an engineer in energy and building technologies and holds an Executive MBA. Since 2007 he is the general manager of the Green Tech Valley and initiates innovation projects with 300 green tech companies. The south of Austria around Graz is known as the Green Tech Valley, as it is ranked a leading hotspot for climate and circular solutions. The cluster organisation leads as global No. 1 the “Cluster Management Excellence Label” by ESCA (VDI/VDE IT). Bernhard is board member of ICN International Cleantech Network, EU Cluster Management Excellence experts group, AEE INTEC Research Organisation and more. Prior positions include energy & cluster development expert for UNIDO, research network coordinator, executive management trainer, energy consultant and more.
