Dr. Tomaž Bregar leads the Pre-Development Department at Hisense Europe, where he and his international team develop innovative and user-friendly solutions for household appliances in the areas of cooking, dishwashing, laundry care, and refrigeration. The team operates globally, with members based in Slovenia, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Their work focuses on identifying breakthrough technologies that bring added value to end users.

An important part of their approach is close collaboration with research institutions both at home and abroad, enabling effective knowledge transfer between academia and industry, and fostering faster innovation development.
