prof. dr. Tjaša Redek

Prof. Dr. Tjaša Redek is a faculty member at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, where she teaches a variety of courses, including macroeconomics, microeconomics, economic growth, and development. She studied at the School of Economics and Business in Ljubljana and at the London School of Economics.

Her past research has focused extensively on issues of institutional development in the context of economic growth and on labor market topics. In recent years, her research has primarily concentrated on analyzing the role of intangible capital—especially innovation—in driving economic growth and firm productivity. She has participated in several domestic and international projects, with results published in numerous academic outlets.

Prof. dr. Tjaša Redek je zaposlena na Ekonomski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, kjer sodeluje pri številnih predmetih, na primer makroekonomiji, mikroekonomiji, gospodarski rasti in razvoju. Študirala je na Ekonomski fakulteti ter na London School of Economics. Raziskovalno se je v preteklosti veliko ukvarjala s problematiko institucionalnega razvoja v luči gospodarske rasti, s trgom dela, v zadnjih nekaj letih pa se je raziskovalno usmerila predvsem na področje analize vloge neotipljivega kapitala (sploh inovacij) za gospodarsko rast ter produktivnost podjetij. Sodelovala je pri več domačih in mednarodnih projektih, katerih rezultati so predstavljeni v več publikacijah.
