Matjaž Marovt graduated in 1986 from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In 1998, he earned a master’s degree in management from Sheffield Business School, part of Sheffield Hallam University, where his master’s thesis was nominated for the EFQM Award. He has held senior management positions at Gorenje, Prevent, and Holding Slovenske elektrarne, and is currently the Executive Director for the Industrial Division at Adria Mobil in Novo Mesto. For several years, he lectured on procurement and logistics at the Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor, as a senior lecturer.
