Nevenka Kržan holds a university degree in economics. She began her professional career in banking, where she held various management positions. During this period, she was involved in banking and privatisation processes and participated in the establishment of a new commercial bank as well as a company for the management of investment funds and companies.
In 1998, she joined KPMG Slovenia, and in 2001 became a regional partner responsible for financial advisory services. As an expert in finance and the financial sector, she worked on and led projects for numerous private- and public-sector companies across a wide range of industries.
Throughout her career, as the partner responsible, she led projects involving due diligence, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), valuations, restructuring, refinancing, and the development of strategies and business plans. In 2010, she became Senior Partner of KPMG in Slovenia.
She holds licences from the Slovenian Institute of Auditors as a Certified Business Valuer and Certified Auditor.
