Uroš Maklič is an entrepreneur and business leader who turned an everyday urban challenge into a technology opportunity. As a co-creator of the MobilePark app, he helped introduce mobile parking payments in Slovenia fifteen years ago. The scalable solution attracted Sweden’s EasyPark, and some of the technology developed in Slovenia became an integral part of its global platform.
Today, he leads EasyPark Slovenia and oversees the Adriatic region and Bulgaria within the Arrive group. He works with cities and parking operators to digitalise mobility, make more efficient use of public space and develop data-driven services that save users time.
